I help individuals, including those who have experienced trauma, reach their fullest potential. By tapping into the stagnant energy holding you back, I guide you through a release process that sets you free, addressing the impact of past experiences in a safe and supportive space. Utilizing an integrative and client-centered approach, I foster a strong therapeutic relationship, seamlessly incorporating techniques from humanistic and CBT models such as mindfulness exercises and cognitive reframing, as well as trauma-informed techniques, to empower you on your journey.

For individuals seeking a more embodied experience, I offer a holistic approach where yoga and art therapy weave together in a natural flow. Yoga postures complement art therapy by releasing tension and creating space for emotional exploration. Combining these powerful modalities allows the body and mind to work together in calming the soul.
In 2014, I graduated from Long Island University Post Campus with my MS in clinical art therapy. I soon began working with a variety of populations from incarcerated youths, adults with mental health struggles, to individuals healing from domestic, sexual, emotional violence and addiction. After working with traumatized individuals, I began to seek other holistic therapeutic approaches to help those process deep rooted feelings and emotions that can be difficult to discuss in therapy.
Since I have always been passionate about yoga, it occurred to me that it would be incredible to blend yoga and art therapy together. Merging art and yoga transformed into The WellNest | Yoga | Art Therapy private practice where you can experience a full embodied therapeutic experience, where you are moved through yoga poses or asanas, followed by a guided meditation and finally processing it all together either individual with me, your therapist or if in a group settings, with myself and your peers. I am hopeful this experience will help you develop healthy coping skills so you are able to release pent up emotions from possible traumas and handle all of life stressors as they come.
